Our shop sits right on the renigunta-cuddapah road, and it’s been our home for a good number of years now. Dealing with power systems means we see a lot of different people coming through every day. It is a busy stretch of road and things can get pretty dusty with all the traffic passing by our front door. Most days we are just busy keeping things moving and making sure the equipment is sorted out. It is not some fancy office in a big city center, but we like it here just fine. Sometimes the heavy rains make the road a bit messy, but that is just part of being in this area. We usually have a few guys working in the back and someone near the front to talk to anyone who stops in for a chat. The shop floor is always filled with batteries and heavy parts. It gets loud sometimes when we are testing things out. We don’t have a big front desk or anything like that. Just a few chairs and some old newspapers usually sit in the corner. Most people who come by are locals or drivers just passing through. It is straightforward work for us. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of what we do is hands-on. If you walk in, you might have to wait a minute if we are in the middle of a big job. That is just how it goes here.
