Sri Balaji Traders

Sri Balaji Traders has its home at 174, Chinna Kadai Street. It’s one of those busy streets where something is always happening, and we’ve been part of that for quite a long time. Our shop is pretty straightforward, filled with the stuff we trade every day. There’s no fancy air conditioning or sleek counters, just a lot of shelves and some old fans to keep the air moving. If you come by Chinna Kadai Street, you’ll see us busy with customers or unloading goods from a rickshaw. We do a lot of the work ourselves, from counting the items to writing out the receipts by hand. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up over the day. Sometimes we have a bit of a laugh with the regulars who have been coming here for years. The street can be quite narrow, so getting big deliveries in is always a bit of a headache, but we make it work somehow. We aren't looking to change much about how we operate because this way of doing things feels right to us. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Most days are predictable, but every now and then, we get a big order that keeps us on our toes. We just try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. Being a local trader means being part of the street’s history, and we’re happy with that.
