We are located at No. 3, Ground Floor, on 2nd Street in Kuchikar Yacoob Sahib Kollai. This is right in the 635802 area of Ambur, which is a place known all over for leather work. Al Faire Leather Exports Private Limited is just one of many businesses here, but we have our own way of doing things. The ground floor office is handy because we are always moving samples and heavy hides around. It can get a bit dusty and the strong smell of leather is everywhere, but we don't mind it after all these years. Ambur is a busy town, especially in this Vellore district stretch where the industries are. Our street is usually full of activity from morning till night. We don't have a big corporate setup; it's mostly just a few of us working through the piles of orders and shipping documents on our desks. Sometimes the fans aren't enough when it gets really hot in the middle of the day, so we just drink more water. We keep our heads down and get the work finished. People drop by with questions or deliveries all the time. It is a very practical sort of place. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather just get the exports right. It’s a bit cramped with all the desks and boxes, but it’s home for the business. 2nd Street has its regulars and we are definitely one of them now.
