Melaputhu St is quite a narrow place. Being located in Ambasamudram, life is a bit slower than in the big cities, but we keep things moving. Wabcotvs(India)Ltd is right here at number 75. The building we work in is old but sturdy. Every day, we see the same familiar faces. Since it gets so hot in Tamil Nadu, the fans never stop spinning. Most of our time is spent on the technical side of the business. This isn't a flashy showroom with bright lights. Instead, there are tools and boxes scattered around. Checking the inventory takes up a good chunk of the afternoon. Local people often stop by to ask questions or just to say hello. Knowing the neighbors makes the day go by faster. When the heavy rain comes, it can be hard to get things done, but we manage. Because the office isn't very big, staying organized is a must. We have been at this address for quite some time now. Fancy slogans and big words aren't really our thing. Looking at the parts and making sure everything is correct is the priority. During festivals, the street outside gets incredibly noisy. On quiet days, we might close up a little early. Running a business in a small town is a simple life. We don't have a marketing team. It is just us doing the daily work. Paperwork piles up, but it gets cleared eventually.
