V.M.D Travels is located right on Anna Salai in Nankuneri. It is a straightforward travel setup. We handle a lot of local trips and some longer journeys out of Tirunelveli. Being on the main road helps because people can find us easily. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here. It is just about getting people from one place to another without too much fuss. I’ve been working in this area for years. The office is small and functional. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers about their routes. Some days are very quiet and we just sit and drink tea, then suddenly three families walk in wanting to go to a temple or the airport. We don't have a big website or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people living right here in Nankuneri who know us. We try to keep the vehicles in decent shape. It is a lot of work to maintain everything with the heat and the roads.
