You can find Ubendra Hardwares at 55, S N High Road, right near the Tirunelveli Junction. It’s a prime spot because everyone passes through here eventually, whether they are catching a train or just moving through the city. Being at the junction means it is never really quiet. We have horns honking and people rushing by from dawn until late at night. Our shop is packed with all sorts of hardware items, from heavy-duty bolts to simple door handles. We don't have a lot of empty space because we try to keep everything a person might need for a quick fix or a big project. The metal shelves are heavy, and the floors are concrete because we move a lot of weight around every day. It’s a hot place to work, especially in the summer months, but the breeze from the road helps a little. We are just a local team that knows where every single nail and washer is hidden in the back. When someone comes in confused about what size screw they need, we just take a look and find it for them. We don't bother with complicated systems or high-tech displays. It is just an old-fashioned hardware store where we talk to our neighbors and help them get their tasks finished. We’ve been part of the junction’s life for a long time and we like it that way, just keeping the shelves stocked and the customers moving.
