Sri Laxmi Interiors & Construction

We set up Sri Laxmi Interiors & Construction over at 8, Shankaran Kovil Road in Nellai Town. It’s a busy part of Tirunelveli, and there’s always people moving around outside. Our office isn’t huge, but it fits all the things we need to show people, like wood samples and different types of tiles we use for the houses we build. Most days start early with a cup of tea from the shop next door. The road outside can get a bit crowded with buses and cars, especially during school hours. Inside, we have a few chairs for visitors and a big table where we spread out our drawings. We don’t really go in for big advertisements or anything like that. Most of the people who come here have seen our sign while walking by or heard about us from someone else in town. We spend a lot of time on the phone with laborers and suppliers. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with all the material samples everywhere, but we know where everything is. It’s a practical place for doing practical work. We’ve been here in Nellai Town for a good while and know the area pretty well. When the weather is nice, we keep the door open, but mostly we leave the fan on and stay inside where it’s shaded. It’s a simple life of building things and making sure the interiors look right for the people who live there. It's just us doing our daily work.
