Sri Creations

Our little spot for Sri Creations is at No. 43 Seventh Street in Perumalpuram. It is a narrow street, so parking is always a bit of a headache for anyone visiting. We spend our days inside this building working on various bits and pieces. There are usually scraps of material or tools left out on the workbenches because we are always in the middle of something. It is not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. The light in Perumalpuram is quite nice in the evenings when the sun starts to go down. We have a few fans going all the time to keep the air moving because it can get stuffy in the back rooms. Being at No. 43 means we are right in the middle of the residential block, so it feels very local. You hear the kids playing outside and the vendors walking by. We do not have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people just know us by the address. We work long hours sometimes, especially when there is a lot to finish by the end of the week. The floors are concrete and they have some stains from the different projects we have handled over the years. It is just a simple workshop environment where we put in the hours and try to make things that work. It is homey in its own messy way.
