Skt Spices

Our place is on Bye Pass Road, right near Annanji Post. Skt Spices isn't some huge corporation with fancy glass windows. We work out of W 8/262. It’s a practical building meant for work, not for looking pretty. Most of the time, the air smells like coriander or chili because that’s what we are dealing with all day long. My hands usually smell like spices even after I wash them at night. It’s just part of the job. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and checking the quality of what comes in. If it’s not right, we send it back. We’ve been here long enough that people know where to find us if they need something specific. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic from the bypass, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have a big marketing team. If you like what we do, you tell your neighbor, and that’s how we grow. It’s slow, but it feels right. We focus on the basics. Making sure the spices are clean and the bags are filled correctly. There are a few of us here who have been working together for years. We know the rhythm of the place. It’s a simple business, honestly. Nothing too complicated about it at all. We just keep our heads down and work.
