Shanmugha Precision Forging

We operate as a unit of the V.S.B Trust, and you can find our facility at 121/6-A on the Trichy Main Road in Tirumalaisamudram. Being right on the main road makes it easy for the trucks to get in and out, which is good because we move a lot of steel. Forging is heavy, hot work. You can hear the hammers and presses from the gate. We spend our days dealing with high temperatures and raw metal, turning them into parts that go into cars and bigger machines. It’s a gritty job. Everyone here ends the day with a bit of soot on their face, but that is just how forging goes. We have a good group of guys who have been working these machines for years. They know the sound of a press that’s working right versus one that needs a bit of grease. The office is just a small partitioned space where we keep the logs and handle the paperwork. We don't go in for big presentations. Usually, a customer just calls us up or drops by to talk about a drawing they have. We see if we can make the dies for it and then we get to work. The sun can be pretty brutal out here in Tirumalaisamudram, so we try to get the heaviest work done early in the morning when it’s cooler. It's just a regular workplace doing tough, necessary work.
