Shalom Export

Shalom Export is located at No. 47 East Street in Idaiyankulam. It’s a quiet village area, which we like. The building is an old one, but it serves our purpose well enough. We deal with exports, mainly focusing on local products from this region. There is a lot of back-and-forth with suppliers and buyers. We have a small team, and everyone does a bit of everything. One person might be typing an invoice while another is helping load a truck. It’s hands-on work. Idaiyankulam is a bit out of the way, so we have to plan our transport carefully. We don't have any high-tech systems or fancy software. We use notebooks and a couple of old computers. The pace of life here is a bit slower than the big cities, but when an order needs to go out, we move fast. We’ve had some regulars who have stuck with us since the beginning. We don't do any big promotions. We just try to be fair and do what we said we would do. The office gets quite warm in the summer, so we usually have the fans running full blast. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We are just glad to be working in our own community and helping move local goods to different places. It isn't always easy, and some days are very long, but we keep going. The neighbors often stop by to chat, which makes the day go by faster.
