Senthilvel Travels

Our place, Senthilvel Travels, is located on Muthumalayan Kovil Road in Mukkudal. This is a quiet part of the Tirunelveli district, and we like it that way. Being near the temple road means we see a lot of people coming through for festivals and special prayers. We started this because there weren't enough cars for hire in the 627601 area. It is a family-run thing, mostly. We have a few vehicles parked in the shade of the trees near our house. When someone needs to go to the hospital in the city or attend a wedding in another village, they usually just walk over or send a message. We don't have any big signs or advertisements on the walls. The drivers are all local people who have lived in Mukkudal their whole lives. We spend a lot of time just maintaining the cars because the rural roads can be a bit rough on the tires. It is not a complicated business. We just take the calls, agree on a time, and show up. Sometimes the rain makes the Kovil road a bit muddy, but we still manage to get out. It is an honest way to make a living and we know almost everyone who uses our service by their first name. We just keep things simple and try to be helpful to our neighbors here in the village.
