Our office is located at No. 329 on the Piranoor Border, along Courtallam Road in Shengottah. It’s a beautiful part of the country, especially when the weather is nice. Being near the border means we get people coming through from different places, which is always interesting. Our daily life involves a lot of resource management and planning. The office is a bit remote compared to the big city hubs, so we have to be quite self-reliant. We have our own way of doing things out here. There’s a lot of talk about the weather because it affects everything we do, from transport to construction. The office itself is simple, with just the essentials. We have a couple of computers, a printer that works most of the time, and plenty of space for storing equipment. We usually start the day with a quick meeting to see where everyone is at. Shengottah is a quiet town for the most part, but the Courtallam Road can get busy during the tourist season. We try to stay out of the way and focus on our own tasks. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours sometimes, but we appreciate the pace of life here. We aren't interested in fancy marketing or big speeches. We just handle the resources and the infrastructure as best as we can. Every day brings a new challenge but we just keep going.
