Sakthiram Travels

We are located at No 68/2 in the Velu Pillai Complex. It is right on Swamy Sannadhi in Tirunelveli Town. Being so close to the Nellaiyappar Temple means we get to see all the big festivals and the huge crowds that come with them. Sakthiram Travels is just a regular local business. The complex is an older building, so the stairs are a bit narrow and the hallways can be dark in the evening when the lights are off. Our office is small, just enough room for a couple of desks and some chairs. We have a lot of maps and calendars pinned to the walls. Sometimes the traffic on Swamy Sannadhi is so loud that we can barely hear ourselves talk, but you get used to it after working here for a few years. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who know the area well. We spend a lot of time checking schedules and making sure the drivers know exactly where they are going. It is a lot of paperwork, and sometimes the printer acts up right when we need it most. We have been part of this neighborhood for a long time, and we know most of the shopkeepers nearby. When it is festival time, we sometimes have to park the vehicles further away because the streets get closed off for the temple processions. It is just part of working in this part of town. We just keep doing our work and helping people with their travel plans.
