Sakthi Cottage Industries

I am writing this from our spot on Sivanthipatti Road here in Palayamkottai. Sakthi Cottage Industries is not a big factory or anything like that. It is just us working on the small stuff that people around here need. Most days it is pretty busy with folks coming in and out of 238. We started out because there was a gap for what we do, and we have just stayed put. The traffic on the road can get a bit much during the afternoons, but we are used to the noise by now. We handle various small-scale tasks and production jobs. It is not fancy work, but it keeps the lights on. Sometimes people struggle to find the exact door since the numbers are a bit messy along this stretch, but once you see our sign, you are there. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New shops come and go, but we keep doing our thing. It is mostly about getting the work done and making sure we do not fall behind. We do not really do much advertising. People mostly just know us from word of mouth or seeing us as they drive past on their way somewhere else. If you are in the area, you probably know the building. It is just a regular workplace where we spend most of our daylight hours making things and talking to the regulars who drop by to check on their orders.
