Our place, Rk Minerals, is over at 44A in Chidambara Nagar. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, though the mornings get a bit hectic with the trucks pulling in. We’ve been operating from here for a good while. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we get the work done. I usually get in early to open up the shutters before the heat starts. We handle a lot of mineral stuff and it gets dusty inside. You have to keep the floor swept or it becomes a mess by the end of the day. My brother and I started this because there was a need for it in the area. We don't spend money on fancy signs or anything like that. People in the neighborhood know us by now. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit muddy, which is a pain for the loading bay. We just put down some boards and keep going. It’s a small operation. We have a couple of helpers who have been with us since the start. They know the routine as well as I do. We just focus on the daily tasks and try not to get behind on the schedule. It’s honest work. Chidambara Nagar is a nice place to be based. We are just part of the local scenery here and we try to do our bit without causing any trouble for the neighbors.
