About Rich Bags Work – Fashion & Trends in Tirunelveli
Down at 16/10 Mohideen Puram in Eruvadi, we run a small bag workshop. It’s not a big factory, just a place where we put things together and make sure they’re sturdy. We mostly do stitching and assembly for different types of bags. There’s usually thread and fabric scraps all over the floor by the end of the day. We take our work seriously, even if the shop looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. Eruvadi is our home, and we like being able to work right here in the community. We don't have a big sales team or a showroom. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or people who know where to find us. We spend a lot of time at our sewing machines making sure the seams are tight. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend half a day fixing them ourselves with whatever tools we have. We don't mind. It's just part of the job. We aren't trying to make anything luxury, just good bags that people can actually use for their daily tasks. The lighting isn't the best in the back, so we do the detailed stitching near the front window where there is more sun. It’s a simple way to spend the day, and we’re happy to have the work to do.
