You can find us at 69 Veerakovil Street. It used to be old number 17, so some people still get confused when they are looking for us. We are right near the Mariamman Kovil. Being close to the temple means we get a lot of people who are out for their prayers. It’s a small space, and we have lived with the same wall paint for many years. We have some glass cases filled with traditional jewelry. The street is narrow, so it feels very local and cozy. We know the families around here. Often, we see three generations of the same family coming in to buy something for a wedding. We don't use a lot of technology here. We have a calculator and some pens. The floor is tile and it stays cool even when it is very hot outside. We spend our mornings cleaning the jewelry and making sure everything is in the right place. There is a lot of incense smell in the air because of the temple nearby. It makes the shop feel peaceful. We are not a big chain, just a local mart. We take our time with each person who walks through the door. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if someone is coming from far away.
