P.R.K. Travels

P.R.K. Travels operates out of the Kadayam Stand in Pungampatti. We are right there in Kadayam, Tirunelveli, with the pin code 627415. Being at the stand is great because that is where all the people are. When the buses pull in, we are ready for anyone who needs to go further into the villages. Our office is just a small spot near the bus stop. It is a bit of a dusty place and it can get very hot in the afternoons, but we are used to it. We are not a big company with many branches. It is just a few of us who have been driving for years. We know all the roads around Pungampatti and Kadayam like our own backyard. We do not have any fancy systems for bookings. We mostly just talk to people who walk up to us at the stand. We also have a mobile number that people call when they need a ride from their house. We spend a lot of time sitting and waiting for the next bus to arrive, drinking tea and chatting with the other drivers. It is a simple way of life and we like being our own bosses. We make sure the cars have enough oil and the tires are good. We don't make any big promises, we just try to be there when someone needs a lift. That is how we have always done things at the Kadayam Stand.
