Pooram Soda Works

Pooram Soda Works is located at 79, Adichanallur. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, though things pick up in the afternoons. The building isn't brand new. It has some cracks in the walls and the paint is peeling in a few corners but it works for what we need. 79 is the number on the door. You might miss it if you aren't looking. We spend our mornings getting everything ready. There’s a lot of noise from the glass hitting together. It's a sound you get used to after a few days. Adichanallur is a decent place to be based. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the summer months. We usually leave the door open to get a bit of a breeze through the workspace. Pooram Soda Works has been part of this street for a bit. It’s just how we make a living. There aren't any fancy chairs or waiting rooms here. Just the equipment and some crates stacked up in the back. Sometimes the delivery truck is late because of the roads, but we just deal with it when it happens. People stop by and say hello. We don't have much to say back other than the usual talk about the weather or the news. It’s a plain business. We do the work, close up, and go home. That's the routine at 79, Adichanallur. We usually have some tea around four o'clock when the light changes and the workday starts to end.
