M/S Ahamed Travel & Tours is based on Puthumanai Pallivasal Road, right in the Melapalayam area. We are near the Main Bazzar, so it’s always crowded and noisy around our shop. We’ve been here at 21B for a good while. Dealing with tours and travel means we talk to a lot of different people every day. Some want to go far away and others just need a vehicle for a few hours. We handle the paperwork and try to make sure the drivers know where they are going. Tirunelveli 627005 is our home and we know the bazzar area like the back of our hands. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you might see different people behind the desk depending on the time of day. We don't have any fancy brochures. We just tell people the price and what cars we have available. Sometimes we are drinking tea out front when things are slow. Melapalayam is a busy place and being near the Pallivasal means there’s always something happening. We just keep the business running as best as we can. We have a couple of different types of vehicles depending on if it’s a big group or just one person. People come to us because we have been in the same spot for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just a reliable one for the local folks. It is a lot of driving but we enjoy the work.
