We’ve been here at 134, Longly Road for a while now. Most people around Sevvaipettai know where we are. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a place where we get the food products ready. My family started this because we needed something to do and we knew a bit about food. Every morning, the shutters go up and the work starts. It’s usually busy with people coming in and out, and the noise from the road is always there in the background. We don't have a huge team, just a few of us making sure everything is packed right. Sometimes things get a bit messy when a big order comes in, but we handle it. The building is old, and it has that smell of ground spices and grains that sticks to your clothes. We don't spend money on big signs or bright lights. Most people just find us by walking down Longly Road. It’s a simple setup. We deal with the local suppliers and try to keep things moving. There’s no secret to it, just showing up every day and doing the work. If you walk past Sevvaipettai, you’ll probably see us lifting boxes or talking to the delivery drivers. We like it this way, keep it small and manageable. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but our spot stays pretty much the same. It’s home for us.
