Malaisoodi Tyres

We are located at 138/1 on Palayam Kottai Road. If you drive down this way, you’ll see our shop with tyres stacked up outside. It’s a bit messy, to be honest. There’s always some black dust or grease on our hands from the wheels. We spend our days dealing with punctures and changing tyres for local drivers. The road outside is always busy, so there’s plenty of noise from the traffic. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with air conditioning. Usually, customers just stand around and chat with us while we work. It’s a straightforward job. We get the old tyres off and put the new ones on. Sometimes we have to deal with stubborn bolts that won't budge no matter what. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the late afternoons. We have a couple of tools that have seen better days but they still work for us. Malaisoodi Tyres isn't a huge dealership. It's just a local spot where people bring their bikes or cars when they have a flat. We try to keep a decent stock of different sizes in the back room. It’s dark back there and smells like old rubber. We open early and stay until the sun goes down. Most of the people who come here are regulars from the neighborhood. We just do the work and send them on their way. It’s not a complicated business. We just keep the wheels turning for the folks on Palayam Kottai Road.
