If you go down Nainarkulam Market Road in Nellai Town, you’ll find us at 93 A. We are right next to the Arasan Lorry Service. Being near a lorry service means there is always a lot of heavy traffic and noise, but it’s perfect for a battery shop. We deal with all kinds of batteries for cars, trucks, and home setups. It’s a greasy, hands-on job and our hands are rarely clean. We spend a lot of time testing old batteries and hauling heavy new ones around. The shop isn't much to look at, just shelves full of lead and acid, but we know where everything is. We’ve been here for quite a while, and the market road is always buzzing with people. Most of our customers are truck drivers or local residents whose batteries died at the worst time. We don't do much fancy talking here. We just check the voltage and tell you if it’s dead or if it can be saved. Sometimes we have to work fast when a driver is in a hurry to get back on the road. It can be a long day, especially when the humidity is high in town. We’ve learned a lot about different brands over the years and which ones actually last. We just try to keep the lights on and help people get their vehicles moving again. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy throughout the week.
