We are located at 3/152 Nadar Thottam in Koodankulam. The office is at the house of Annalakshmi A. It is a quiet residential area, so you won't see any big office buildings around us. We chose this spot because it is easy for the local people to reach us without any trouble. Our office is just a simple room with some tables and chairs. We have a lot of paper files because we like to keep physical records of everything. It is a small operation with only a few of us working here. We handle the local savings and help people out with small loans when they need them. Most of our members are people we have known for years. We talk about the weather or the local crops while we are doing the paperwork. It is not a fast-paced environment. We take our time to make sure every entry is correct. Sometimes we have tea together while we wait for the afternoon heat to pass. We don't have any fancy technology or automated systems that make things confusing. It is just us and our ledgers. The office gets a nice breeze sometimes, which is good because it can get quite hot in Koodankulam. We stay open during the regular hours and people just walk in whenever they have a bit of business to do. It is a simple, honest way to run things for the neighborhood.
