Jasmine Enterprises

Our office is at 271 Narayana Nagar, over in the Sankar Nagar area. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood compared to the main city center where everything is always rushing. Jasmine Enterprises is run out of this building, and we’ve tried to make the best of the space we have. It’s not a very large place, so it feels a bit cramped when all of us are in at the same time working. We mostly handle small-scale trade and some local distribution of products. There’s always a stack of papers on the main desk and the phone seems to ring just when we’re about to take a break for lunch. We don't have any corporate protocols or fancy uniforms here. We just show up, do the work, and talk to the people who come by. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise in the mornings when we're opening up. Sometimes we have to move stuff around to make room for new deliveries, and that usually involves a bit of heavy lifting for the guys. It’s a simple life for us. We know the postman and the guy who brings the drinking water every two days. There’s nothing particularly special about the way we operate, just hard work and staying organized with our logs. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy to get to and feels more like a community than a sterile business district. We've been here for a while.
