Our office is right on VOC Street in Tirunelveli Town. It is a busy area and the noise of the street usually comes right through the front door. Jai Gurudev Chit Funds has been operating from this spot for a good while. People from all over Tirunelveli district come by, especially on the days when the groups meet. No. 65 is where we keep all the files and the heavy registers. It is a simple setup with just enough space for a few people to sit and talk. Tirunelveli is known for being a bit traditional, and we fit right into that. We don't use much fancy technology, mostly just pen and paper and some basic computer work. The street outside is always full of people shopping or heading to work. Sometimes it is hard to find parking but our regulars know the way. We spend our time counting out the cash and making sure every entry is correct in the books. It is honest work. The staff here has been together for a long time.
