Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited

Down in the Sipcot Industrial Area in Gangaikondan, you’ll find our facility. It’s a big site, as you’d expect for something like Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited. The sun gets really strong out here in Gangaikondan, so the shade of the buildings is always welcome. There are trucks coming in and out at all hours, moving crates and supplies. It’s a noisy place with the sound of the line running and the forklifts beeping. We have a lot of people working shifts to keep things going. It feels like a small city inside the gates sometimes. We aren't much for fancy talk; we just have a lot of work to do every single day. The industrial area is quite vast, and we are just one part of that landscape. It’s a lot of concrete and steel, but it’s where the job gets done. We have our routines and our safety checks that we do over and over. It might seem repetitive to some, but it’s what keeps the place running properly. There’s always someone checking a list or loading a pallet. We eat our lunch in the breakroom and then get right back to it. It’s a heavy-duty environment, but we’re used to it by now. The wind blows across the open spaces of Sipcot and brings a bit of dust, but we just keep the machines wiped down and the floors swept. It’s a huge operation, but it still feels like a day’s work for everyone here.
