Gammon India Limited

Down here in Tirunelveli, specifically in Surandai, is where you will find our office. The address is 10/10/50, Alagapuri Pattanam. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city centers, which makes it a quieter place to work compared to the big metros. We are part of the Gammon India Limited team. The building is simple, just like the surrounding neighborhood. In this part of Tamil Nadu, life moves a bit differently. We start early to beat the heat of the day. Our office is filled with the usual stuff like desks, old computers, and a lot of paper. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to make things look pretty for photos. It’s just us doing the work we are supposed to do. Sometimes the locals stop by to ask questions or just to say hello. We spend a lot of time coordinating with other sites. The roads around here are okay, but they get dusty when the wind picks up. We’ve been at this spot for some time now and it feels like home. There’s a tea shop nearby where we usually go for breaks. It’s a very grounded way of working. No one here wears suits unless they absolutely have to for a big meeting. We just wear what’s comfortable and get on with the business. It’s a long day usually but we manage to get things sorted eventually. We also have a lot of files that need to be filed away every week.
