Electromechanical Company

Down here on Asura East Street in Tirunelveli, things move at their own pace. Our shop, Electromechanical Company, is at number 18 and it’s been that way for a good while now. Being in Tamilnadu, it gets pretty hot during the middle of the day, so we usually have the fans going full blast while we look over machines and wires. It’s a simple setup we have. We spend a lot of time working with our hands, fixing what’s broken or putting together new parts for people in the area. The street outside is always noisy with bikes and people walking to the local shops, but we just focus on the task on the table. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the work we do is solid and that the stuff actually runs when it leaves our hands. Sometimes a customer comes in and we just talk for twenty minutes before even looking at the machine. That is just how it is in this neighborhood. We have our tools organized, mostly, though sometimes a wrench goes missing right when you need it. The floor is concrete and easy to sweep, which is good because we get a lot of dust from the road. It is just a regular life for us, doing electromechanical work in the heart of Tirunelveli, and we wouldn't have it any other way right now.
