Our branch is located at number 45 on Trivandram Road in Palayamkottai. Even though we are part of a larger name, this specific spot has its own way of doing things. We have a small crew working here, and most of us live just a short walk or bus ride away. The building sits right on the main road, so it’s always busy with people traveling between Palayamkottai and other parts of the city. We spend our shifts making drinks and keeping the place from getting too messy, which can be a challenge when it rains and everyone brings in mud. The furniture is a bit worn in some spots, but it’s comfortable enough for a quick sit-down. We don’t have any big speeches about what we do. We just come in, turn on the machines, and start serving whoever walks through the door. Some people come in every single morning at the same time, and we usually have their order ready before they even get to the counter. It’s a routine that works for us. We handle the morning rush as best as we can, then things settle down in the afternoon. It’s just a regular job for us, and we try to make sure the coffee is hot and the space is open when it’s supposed to be. Trivandram Road is a loud place, but inside we try to keep it steady.
