If you’re looking for Anwar Motors, we are located at 24A on the Main Road in Periyanayagapuram. It’s a spot where there’s always grease on someone’s hands and a car with the hood up. We’ve been working out of this garage for a long time, mostly focusing on whatever comes through the door. The Main Road gets pretty noisy, which suits us just fine. We have tools scattered around, but we generally know where everything is when we need it. Cars come in with all sorts of noises and leaks, and we spend our hours trying to get them back on the road. It’s dusty work, and the floors are never really clean for more than five minutes. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with air conditioning. Usually, people just stand around or sit on a plastic chair while we take a look at their engine. Periyanayagapuram is a tight-knit place, so we see a lot of the same cars year after year. We keep the doors open late sometimes if a job is proving difficult. It isn’t always easy, and parts can take a while to arrive, but that’s just how it goes in the motor business. We just keep at it, one car at a time, making sure things are bolted down right before the customer drives off. Sometimes we get a bit backed up, but we work through the pile as fast as we can. It is just how the days go.
