We’ve been running things here at 4, Ashtalakshmi Nagar for a good while now. It’s right on the Tuticorin Main Road, so it gets pretty busy outside with all the traffic heading into Maharaja Nagar. Most days, we’re just sitting in the office going through paperwork or taking calls from people asking about plots and houses nearby. It’s not a fancy setup, just a desk and some chairs where we talk to folks who drop by. The weather here in Tuticorin gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast while we look at property maps. Sometimes the tea stall down the road brings over a few cups when we have visitors. We know the area around Maharaja Nagar like the back of our hands because we live close by too. People usually find us just by seeing the sign while they’re driving past on the main road. It’s a straightforward business where we help people figure out what’s available in this part of town. We don't do anything flashy, just keep track of who is selling and who is looking to buy. If you walk in, you’ll probably see a few files stacked up and us trying to organize the latest listings. It gets a bit dusty with the road being so close, but that’s just how it is here. The walls are a bit faded and we have an old calendar that we sometimes forget to flip. There’s always a stack of property newspapers on the side table that people look through while they wait.
