Aathavan Minerals

Aathavan Minerals is located at number 65 on the Main Road in Puthur, which is a part of Tirunelveli Town. We have been set up here for a while, dealing with various mineral products that come through this area. The Main Road is always full of life, with buses and cars zooming past our front door from morning until night. It is a very convenient location for our suppliers to drop off materials because they do not have to go down any narrow lanes. We have a small storage area and a tiny office where we handle all the bills and receipts. It is a family-run thing for the most part. My cousins and I take turns managing the daily tasks and talking to the customers. The weather in Tirunelveli can get very hot, so we usually have the fans going full blast all day long just to stay cool. We deal with bulk orders mostly, so there is a lot of weighing and heavy loading involved in a day's work. It is physically demanding, especially when the sun is high in the sky. We do not use any fancy sales tactics or advertisements. People in town know who we are and they know what we sell. We try to be fair with everyone who walks through our doors. Working with minerals means everything gets a bit dusty, so we are always cleaning the desks.
