A R College Of Engineering Technology

A R College Of Engineering Technology is situated in Therkumadathoor. We are very close to the railway station here in the Kadayam area. This is all part of the Ambasamudram Taluk. The college grounds are quite spread out, and you can see the trains passing by not too far from the campus. It is a bit of a rural setting, which makes it a lot quieter than the colleges you find in the middle of a big city. We have a lot of students who travel in by train every morning, so the path from the station to our gates is usually very busy at a certain time of day. The buildings are built for the local weather, with high ceilings and plenty of windows to catch the breeze. We spend our days managing the classes and looking after the facilities. It is not a perfect place—the paint might be peeling in a few spots and the grass needs cutting more often than we get to it—but it is a real place for learning. Kadayam is a friendly area, and the college is a big part of the community in Ambasamudram Taluk. We don't have any flashy advertisements around. Most people find out about us just by seeing the campus near the station. It is a straightforward engineering college where we just focus on getting the students through their courses every year.
