Our office is located at No 15A on Bharathar Street in Palayamkottai. We are right across from Jawahar Thidal, which is a big open space that many people in Tirunelveli know well. It’s a good landmark for us. The street we are on has its own rhythm, and we have been part of it for some time. At A R Balsingh Architects, we don't spend a lot of time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. It’s a working office, so there are drawings and maps scattered around most of the time. It might look a bit messy to some, but it's just how we work best. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We aren't wearing suits or following strict corporate rules. We just show up and get to work on the designs. Sometimes we walk over to the thidal just to get some air or clear our heads during the day. The neighborhood is nice and feels like home to us. We’ve grown accustomed to the sights and sounds of Palayamkottai. We don't have a fancy website or a big advertising budget. Most of our work comes from people who just know where we are or have heard about us from someone else. It is a straightforward way to run a business. We just stay focused on the boards and the sketches and try to do a decent job every day.
