Zen Ceylon

Our place is at F-4, Thayar Block. It's inside Thathachariyar Garden in Mambalasalai. It is a bit tucked away, which is nice because it stays relatively quiet for us. We handle all the Zen Ceylon business from this small office. Most days are just spent sorting through things and making sure the orders are right. The garden area is quite pleasant to walk through in the morning before we start work. We don't have a huge staff, just a few people who know the routine. Mambalasalai is a decent part of town to be based in. We’ve been in this block for a while now. The space is a bit cramped when we get a lot of stock in, but we find a way to stack everything up. It’s not some polished showroom. It’s just a working office where we spend our hours. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The building itself is older, so it has its quirks, like the occasional leaky pipe or a door that sticks. But it feels like home to us. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks. We don't really have a grand plan, we just want to make sure the work gets done and the customers get what they asked for. It's a simple way to run Zen Ceylon. We’re usually here from morning until the sun goes down.
