Barjeel International

The office is located at No. 1570/ 6 in Yss Nagar, which is a place that’s seen a lot of changes over the last few years. We started Barjeel International without much of a grand plan, just a need to get some business going and a small space to call our own. Most days it’s just us handling paperwork and talking to people on the phone to make sure things are moving from one place to another. Being in Yss Nagar is convenient because it’s not too far from where most of us live, so the commute isn't too bad. The desks are often piled with folders and sticky notes because we try to keep track of everything ourselves. It gets a bit hectic when several things happen at once, but we manage to stay on top of it. We aren’t a big corporation with hundreds of staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, whether it’s filing or moving a few boxes around. Sometimes we sit out front for a quick tea break when the weather is nice. It’s a pretty quiet spot for the most part. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the number on the door and our work. We’ve learned a lot by just doing things, making some mistakes here and there, and figuring it out as we go. It’s just how we operate day to day without any fuss.
