The Modern Tutorial

We are located inside the Kalaivani Complex, right on the Thanjai Main Road in Tiruverambur. Being on the main road makes it easy for the students to get here by bus or bike. The tutorial is just a regular setup in one of the commercial buildings. It’s not a very quiet area because of all the traffic moving toward Thanjavur, but inside the rooms, we try to keep things focused on the lessons. We have been running things here for a while now. The furniture is basic—just desks and chairs arranged in rows so everyone can see the board. We don’t have a big front desk or any receptionists in suits. Usually, one of us is just sitting there with a register to keep track of who comes in. Most of our students live in and around the 620013 area. They come here because they need a bit of extra help with their schoolwork or to get ready for their tests. We use a lot of chalk and talk, keeping it simple. Sometimes the complex gets a bit crowded during the peak hours, but we have our own little corner. We keep the lights on until late in the evening for the older students who have more to study. It’s just a working space for education, without any extra frills or complicated promises. We just open up, teach, and go home like everyone else. It is a practical place for anyone around Tiruverambur needing extra study time.
