If there’s a wedding happening there, the whole street gets packed with cars and people, so it’s a very lively spot to be. Our office is just a small room where we handle all the bookings. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just us and the phones. Srirangam is a place where people are always moving, especially toward the temple or the river, so we stay fairly occupied. We’ve got a handful of drivers who know these streets like the back of their hands. Most of them have been living in Trichy their whole lives. We don’t bother with much advertising because most of our work comes from people walking by or local folks who have our number saved. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a mess, or the heat makes everyone grumpy, but we just keep going. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so we don't have any big bosses or corporate rules.
