Thalapathi Travels

Thalapathi Travels sits right by the NIT Main Gate on Thanjai Main Road. Being in Thuvakkudi, especially right across from VKN Industries, means there is always a lot of movement. The trucks go past all day and night, and there is a constant hum of traffic. Our office is in a spot where we see everything happening at the college gate. It’s a busy place to be. We have a lot of students and staff asking for trips to the city or the station. The office isn't very big, mostly just enough space to keep our stuff and stay out of the sun. We keep the cars parked where we can see them. Sometimes the Thanjai Main Road gets really jammed up, so we have to plan our trips carefully to make sure we aren't stuck in traffic forever. We’ve seen many businesses come and go around here, but we’ve managed to stay put. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. People just see our sign when they come out of the NIT gate or they get our number from a friend. It’s a practical business. We focus on getting the tires checked and the petrol tanks filled. It’s noisy and dusty, but it’s our daily routine. We know every pothole on this road by now, which helps when you’re driving someone late at night or early morning.
