Tejas Structurals is located at E 30 in the Sidco Industrial Estate, Phase II, out in Valavanthankottai. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by factories and workshops, which suits the kind of work we do. We handle structural jobs, which involves a lot of heavy lifting, fabrication, and design. The office is right next to where the actual work happens, so it can get quite noisy with the sound of machinery and trucks moving around. We don't have a polished showroom or a fancy lobby. It's an industrial space where we get our hands dirty. Most days are spent looking at project specs or checking the quality of the steel we’re using. We have a small team, and everyone knows their role. It’s a very functional environment. We focus on getting the structural components right so that the buildings they go into are safe. The area is a bit out of the way, but it gives us the space we need for the materials and the fabrication process. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time talking about technical details. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. We’re usually in work boots and gear, ready to head out to the floor or a site at a moment's notice. It’s just regular, hard work for us here in Valavanthankottai.
