If you are driving down Thanjai Main Road in Trichy, you might have seen our spot at the Annai Complex. We are in No.5, right there in Kailash Nagar. Subeksha Chits has been operating out of this corner of Kattur for some time now. It’s a busy area, and we fit right in with the other shops and offices. We handle the usual chit fund business, helping people put aside some money bit by bit. It isn't a huge operation with fancy glass walls or anything. We have some sturdy tables, a few filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a lot of registers. People from around Tiruchirappalli come in to drop off their payments or just to check on their accounts. We know most of our customers by name, which is how it should be in a place like this. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but inside we just focus on the paperwork. It’s straightforward work. We don’t use those big words you hear from banks in the city. We just explain how the group works and when the next meeting is. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to tidy up the place or catch up on news. It’s just a group of us trying to keep things running smoothly for the folks who trust us with their savings. Nothing more, nothing less than that. There is always a bit of dust from the road, but we keep the records clean.
