Sri Velmurugan Fabricators

We are set up in Thuvakudi, right near the BHEL plant. Being so close to such a big industrial area means there is always noise and movement around us. At Sri Velmurugan Fabricators, our days are filled with the sound of metal hitting metal and the smell of welding. It is a gritty job, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We work with steel and iron, cutting and joining pieces for whatever project is on the table. The heat from the torches is something you just learn to live with. We are not a big polished firm; we are a local shop where we get our hands dirty. Sometimes the workspace gets a bit cluttered with offcuts and tools, but we know where everything is. People from around Thuvakudi come to us when they need something sturdy built. We do not have a secretary or a waiting room. You just walk in and talk to whoever is not wearing a welding mask at the moment. It is honest work that requires a lot of patience and a steady hand. The traffic near BHEL can be a nightmare during shift changes, so we try to time our deliveries carefully. We have been doing this for years and plan to keep at it for many more. It is just us, the metal, and the daily grind.
