Sri Nathan Travels & Call Taxi

Our office is on Madurai Road in the East part of Trichy. We are very close to the Star Theatre, so if you are looking for us, just head towards the cinema. We run a travel and call taxi business. It’s a lot of work because the phone never really stops ringing. People need taxis at all hours. We have a group of drivers we work with. Some of them have been with us for a long time. The office is a bit small and can get crowded when a few drivers are in there waiting for their next trip. We have a big map of Trichy on the wall, even though we know the streets by heart. It’s just good to have. We don't have any corporate training or anything like that. We just learn as we go. Sometimes a customer is unhappy because a driver was a few minutes late, and we have to explain about the traffic near the theatre. It’s just part of the job. Sri Nathan Travels has been around for some years now. We keep our records in big folders. It’s not the most modern way, but it works for us. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the busy shifts. It’s a simple life running a taxi stand on Madurai Road.
