Sri Jai Travels

Our office is over on Vayalur Road, specifically at the Fifth Cross. If you are near Bishop College in Bharathi Nagar, we are right across from it. Sri Jai Travels is a small local outfit. No 3/80 is where we spend most of our time. Tiruchirappalli Fort is not too far away, so it’s a central enough spot. The traffic on Vayalur Road can be a real mess in the evenings. We usually sit and watch the bikes go by while we wait for the next booking. The office has a few old chairs and a desk that’s seen better days. We have a big map of the state on the wall, though some of the edges are curling. My uncle started this and now I help out with the day-to-day stuff. We don't have a website or anything like that. Most folks just walk in or call the number on the board outside. It’s a simple way to do business. We know most of the shop owners on the street. Sometimes we share a tea in the afternoon. It’s a very local vibe here in Trichy. We don’t use any complicated systems. Just a pen, a book, and a phone. It works for us and the people who use our services. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the papers get mixed up on the desk. We just sort it out eventually. There is no stress about being perfect. We just do the work. The fans keep the heat away mostly.
