South Asian Traders

We have been here at 2/9 KK Nagar for a while now. Most people know the Metre Factory Road as a bit of a busy stretch, and our place sits right in the middle of that daily rush. It is not a very fancy building, just a standard spot where we get our work done. Trichy gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually try to move most of the heavy stuff early in the morning when it is still a bit cool. Being South Asian Traders means we handle a lot of different things coming in and out. Sometimes the stock fills up the whole floor and we have to shuffle things around just to walk through. It is just the way things go when you are busy. We have a few desks tucked in the back where the paperwork happens. It gets noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. Most of our day is spent talking to drivers or checking lists to make sure everything is where it should be. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably see someone moving boxes or sitting with a cup of tea during a quick break. It is a practical place. We focus on getting the orders ready and making sure the trucks can load up without blocking the whole road. It’s just us doing our job every day.
