Skm Agencies is over at F-1 in Srinivasa Nagar, right off Vayalur Road. We’ve been operating out of this unit for several years now. It’s mostly a lot of paperwork and managing inventory. The office isn't much to see, just a couple of desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists to make sure everything is where it should be. Vayalur Road can get pretty packed with bikes and cars during the morning, so we usually try to get in early to beat the mess. It’s a local operation, nothing corporate about it. We know the regular delivery drivers by name. Sometimes the printer acts up or we run out of coffee, but we manage to get through the day's tasks regardless. We don't really have a big staff, just a few people who know how things work around here. Most of our work happens behind the scenes, making sure the supply chain doesn't hit too many bumps along the way. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied from Monday to Saturday. We don't have any big speeches to give about what we do. We just open the shutters, do the work, and lock up in the evening. It’s been our routine for a long time and we’re used to the pace of this neighborhood. Sometimes we sit outside for a few minutes in the evening just to watch the traffic go by.
