Shree Shakthi Self Help Group

Shree Shakthi Self Help Group is based at No: 76/3 E, in Ezhil Nagar. We are located in the Boilar Post area of Trichy. It’s a small place but it serves our needs perfectly. This group was started by people in the community who wanted to work together and support each other. We don't have a fancy office or any corporate branding. It’s mostly just a room where we gather to manage our projects and help the members. There is always someone coming in or going out, usually with some paperwork or a question about a local project. The atmosphere is very informal. We sit around, have some coffee, and figure out how to solve whatever problem is in front of us. Being in Ezhil Nagar, we are close to the people we serve. It’s not about making a huge profit or growing into a massive organization. It’s about the people here in Trichy. We’ve had some tough times, but we always figure it out by talking things through. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes the road a bit muddy, but we just keep going. It’s a very human way of doing things. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just know what needs to be done every day. It’s just us, working together in a simple space to make things a little better for everyone involved. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to do. We just keep at it.
