Sembawang Infra (I) (P) Ltd

We are based at 41/1, Old Pandian Street in Subramaniya Puram, which is over in Trichy. The street is one of those typical narrow lanes where everyone knows everyone else. It can get quite hot here in the afternoons, as you might expect, so we try to keep the office of Sembawang Infra (I) (P) Ltd as cool as possible with fans. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character to it. We don't have any fancy signs or modern glass fronts. It’s just a plain door with our name on it. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with different rooms for different people. We have a lot of files and old records kept in the back shelves. It’s a busy place during the day, with people coming and going for various things. We usually have the local radio playing softly in the background while we work. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so there is a nice community feel to the whole area. We get our coffee from the small shop at the corner of the street almost every morning. Most of us have been working here for years, and we have a set routine that works for us. It’s not a corporate headquarters, just a local office where we do our thing. Sometimes the cows wander down the street and slow down the traffic, but that’s just life here. We like the simplicity of it all and the way the neighborhood settles down.
